Control Engineering Magazine was represented at the 25th edition the Automaticon Trade Fair in Warsaw this week in full force, with a large display booth, magazines and roll-ups throughout the venue. We have prepared some photos from the event of some of the most interesting booths, as well as some comments from press conferences and other interesting activities. Noticeably absent from this year’s event were some of the larger players on the automation market, such as Siemens, Bosch, ABB, ASTOR, and Endress + Hauser. The reason for their absence could be that the market is changing and more and more engineers are heading to Germany for the Hanover Messe Industrial Trade Fair next week, or perhaps the new generation of engineers is more interested in getting product information online instead in person. Whatever the reason for the downturn, Automaticon is still the premier factory automation event in Poland, and judging by the crowds, it is not going to go away anytime soon. Check out the photos below and keep checking back to the Control Engineering website as we continuously update our website with new information about Automaticon and the latest trends in the factory automation sector. Also, don’t forget to check out our “Industry 4.0” Conference that takes place next month April 9th in Warsaw.
